1. ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
LeaderInYou is a social enterprise with its mission is to promote individuals liberate potentials and awaken personal values to foster maturity. LeaderInYou leads the Youth Development Monitoring System (YDMS), an innovative initiative to improve mental health outcomes for adolescents aged 10– 15 in Vietnam through digital solutions, supported by Being – an international mental health initiative hosted by Grand Challenges Canada and funded in part by Fondation Botnar, The UK’s Department of Health and Social Care using UK aid through the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), and the Government of Canada, in partnership with the Science for Africa Foundation, Orygen, and United for Global Mental Health.
LeaderInYou is seeking a dedicated Project Assistant who will provide essential support in ensuring the smooth execution of project activities, maintaining effective coordination among stakeholders, and facilitating timely delivery of milestones. The role demands proactive communication, organizational skills, and administrative competence to support the YDMS initiative’s operational and strategic goals.
2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative & Financial Support
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and organizing workshops, surveys, and training events.
- Maintain accurate project records including meeting minutes, reports and communications.
- Support field activities, provide event logistics, and ensure compliance with GCC’s operational guidelines.
- Contribute to budget tracking, expense reconciliation and preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure proper data handling, storage and compliance with privacy standards.
Stakeholder Coordination

- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders such as schools, educators, parents, and community partners.
- Coordinate communication to ensure timely and consistent information flow across all parties.
- Support follow-ups and documentation from meetings with stakeholders.
Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist with collection and consolidation of monitoring data (SDQ, PACS, CTSPC) from schools and app users.
- Contribute to progress reports and M&E documentation under the supervision of the Project Manager.
- Support the team in implementing feedback loops and data-based improvements to the YDMS App.
Operational Support
- Manage procurement of project supplies and logistical arrangements for fieldwork.
- Support quality assurance processes for app content, especially emotional well-being, family communication and self-discovery modules.
- Help facilitate training sessions for app testers and end users.
3. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration or related fields.
- Having experience in project administration or coordination in development projects is an advantage.
- Quick learner, enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace; experience with data tools is an asset.
- Ability to work with diverse youth populations and stakeholders in a professional, ethical manner.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
